When students reflect it helps them integrate their knowledge beyond the current context and, in doing so, they develop critical thinking and reasoning skills. Another advantage is students strengthen their ability to solidify and articulate that knowledge.
During review periods, it often works well for students to synthesize what they have learned into a several sentences. Below is an example of using Festisite and a paint program to make a reflective product a little more fun. Students enjoy sharing this type of review to learn from one another.
This is still a work in progress but I want to get some feedback to make it a more useful tool. The outer ring contains ideas for projects with site suggestions.
